What to Expect
Edgehill House is a 7 Bedroom Executive Coastal Property with stunning golf views, swimming pool & home cinema.
Sitting right alongside the first green at Gullane Golf Club, the house has recently been through a full refurbishment and has been completed to the highest standards throughout.
Located beside the golf course in its own private grounds it is an impressive mansion conversion and is in an enviable position with fantastic views.
Day 1 Arrival
Arrive in Scotland and your driver will meet and greet you at the airport, providing a private transfer to your exclusive luxury accommodation.
Day 2 Play Muirfield Golf Club
Muirfield is home to The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (HCEG)- the world’s oldest golf club being formed in 1744. Back in those days the members played over Leith Links. In 1891 HCEG moved and the course at Muirfield was opened for play. Designed by Old Tom Morris it was originally 16 holes. In 1928 Harry Colt and Tom Simpson altered the layout to create the masterpiece, and highly unusual links, it is today. It is the first course with concentric rings of nine holes the outward nine run clockwise round the edge and the inward nine anticlockwise sitting inside the outward nine. This layout ensures the wind hits you from all directions.
Host to 15 Opens most recently in 2013 where Phil Mickleson was declared Champion Golfer. It’s also played host to the 1973 Ryder Cup won by USA. Muirfield is ranked 4th in Great Britain and 9th in the world.
Day 2 Play Gullane Number 1
There are 3 fantastic golf courses as part of Gullane GC. Gullane No.1 is voted one of the top 100 golf courses in the world and one of the top 20 courses in Scotland. Home to the 2015 Scottish Open, won by Rickie Fowler, Gullane No.1 requires a variety of uphill and downhill shot-making. Located near Muirfield, Gullane No. 1 is definitely a golf experience not to miss.
Day 4 Play North Berwick West Links
The West Links at North Berwick GC is an tremendously enjoyable golf course located on The Firth of Forth with stunning views across to Craigleith Island and Bass Rock which is a huge granite outcrop that is home to 10% of the world’s population of Atlantic Gannets.
Formed in 1832 it is the 13th oldest golf club in the world and the 3rd oldest course still playing over its original fairways. The other two being Musselburgh Old and St Andrew ‘s Old.
The original architect is unknown but it was originally 6 holes, extended to 18 in 1877.
The 15th “Redan” (a military term meaning guarding parapet) is one of the world’s most famous holes measuring 190 yds.
A unique and wonderful links course ranked in 16th in the UK and 49th in the World.
Day 5 Play Archerfield Links – Stay Greywalls Hotel
Archerfield Links boasts two championship links courses (Fidra and Direlton). Relatively new in comparison to its neighbours Muirfield and North Berwick, it offers the most modern of facilities. A stunning clubhouse with world class practice facilities, you will find the warmest of welcomes and superb hospitality. Archerfield has become a wonderful addition to East Lothian’s Golf Coast.
Day 6 Play Dunbar Golf Club
Dunbar Golf Club is located 30 minutes from Muirfield. Dunbar is relatively short but an extremely testing links golf course and former British Open qualifying course. Stunning coastal views and many holes on the back 9 are played right along the coastline.
Day 8 Breakfast & Transfer to the airport

Included in your package, on a night of your choice, we have set up a gourmet private dining experience for your group, hosted by a top local chef this also incudes waitress service.
Optional Dining Herringbone
Situated in the centre of North Berwick, a slightly cool Edinburgh-casual dining establishment, The Herringbone has a great wine by the glass list and all the right bottled and draught beers. Could be at the Brighton seaside, though it is more calm and retiring outside. We recommend the Bass Rock Salmon burger with pickled cucumber, wasabi. Go for the truffle and parmesan fries.

Optional Dining La Potinière restaurant
La Potiniere is widely recognised as one of the finest restaurants in East Lothian. As one of the founder members of the Scotch Beef Club, Keith and Mary meticulously source ingredients locally as well as utilising the produce grown in La Potinière’s own garden.
The menu at La Potinière changes regularly according to availability of the best produce throughout the seasons.
Everything is prepared in-house, accompanied by a small but comprehensive wine list, to ensure a culinary experience enjoyed within a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Optional Dining The Old Clubhouse
In October 1989, Guy and Brenda Campanile took over at The Old Clubhouse (or The Old Clubbie as it is known locally). From there they embarked on a mission which was to involve three major refurbishments, including the installation of a new bar and gantry built of reclaimed American pitch pine. Though these refurbishments have involved major works, the ambience for which the Old Clubhouse has become famous has been retained at every stage.
Over the years, the Clubbie has gained a considerable reputation for good food and wine with excellent Scottish hospitality.
